Meet our 401(k) Geek!

Greg is focused on helping small businesses thrive by providing retirement benefits to their most valuable asset- their human capital. He delivers strategies, systems, and services for managing employer sponsored retirement plans. He develops strategies that help solve employer problems, manage fiduciary responsibility and improve employer and employee outcomes. He implements systems which help plan sponsors simplify plan management, limit fiduciary liability, and improve employee engagement. His services include plan design, investment analysis and advice, plan benchmarking, provider search, fiduciary guidance, employee education and financial wellness. He is passionate about teaching the employees he serves how to create financial security and save for retirement.

Greg is a seasoned leader with over 39 years of financial services experience, the last 27 focused exclusively working with employer sponsored retirement plans. He serves as an ERISA 3(21) or ERISA 3(38) Fiduciary on every plan he advises. He acquired valuable insider experience working for two different plan record keepers, and learned best practices while affiliated with three different national retirement plan consulting firms. He is a retirement plan specialist with the knowledge, experience and resources to serve 401(k), 403(b), 457 and Profit Sharing and Money Purchase Plans; Cash Balance and Defined Benefit Plans; ESOPs and Executive Benefit Plans. In addition, he has experience with custom target date funds, plan mergers and acquisitions, and Health Savings Accounts.

Greg gives back to the Human Resource Management community as an active member of Austin Human Resource Management Association (AHRMA) and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). He serves as the SHRM Liaison, as a volunteer on the Membership Committee of AHRMA.

Greg enjoys the local music scene, art museums and exhibits, college football, and NHL hockey. On the weekends you may find him hiking or swimming and boating on our creeks, rivers and lakes. He lives and plays in Austin, Texas with wife, daughter and beagle.

To fly like Superman. Then I could always beat traffic.

George Gilder; His uncanny ability to see into the future and understand what is coming, why it is happening, and how it will change our world.

Favorite place in Austin to eat/drink?

Musashino Sushi Dokoro on San Gabriel, or the original Chuy’s on Barton Springs.
