Meet Adam

As Managing Partner and Senior Wealth Advisor at Collective Advisors, Adam brings with him over 16 years of experience as an advisor. Adam helps businesses and individuals work toward their goals, as well as simplifying their financial life through the “Collective”, a way to truly create financial change.

Adam is a proud graduate of the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!) and continued his education with industry designations, including Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®). Adam was the Co-Founder and CEO of Echelon Advisors, a benefits and insurance agency, from 2017-2020 and successfully sold the company to Acrisure in 2020. Previously, Adam founded, developed, and sold a Human Resources/Staffing business in 2005, successfully growing to over 1,200 employees.

Having moved to Austin in 2007, Adam and his family were captivated by the amazing people and culture in the city and have set out to give back to the community. Adam previously served as the Chair, Chair-Elect and Past Chair of the Austin Young Chamber of Commerce and is known as the first-ever member when the group began in 2009. Additionally, he has served as a board-member of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce. Currently, Adam serves on the Board of Directors for two different local organizations, Candlelight Ranch as the Vice President of the board, and the Financial Planning Association of Austin. As a Leadership Austin Emerge graduate, Adam has been spurred to volunteer for several non-profits and their fundraising events (Ace Academy, YMBL, Cru Austin). As a result of Adam’s community and entrepreneurial success, he won the Austin Under 40 Award* in 2015 in the Insurance and Financial Services category.

At home, Adam’s family inspires him to do his best work. Adam has been married for 18 years to his wife, Brooke. They have two children, Oliver, 14, and Scarlett, 12 and enjoy traveling all over the USA as they attempt to visit all 50 states before they graduate from college (Current count 30). They also have three pets, a Goldendoodle named Brisket, a Double Doodle named Fajita, and a noisy and fun guinea pig named Chloe. In Adam’s limited free time, he enjoys collecting and listening to vinyl records, fitness training and learning to play acoustic guitar with his daughter, Scarlett.
